So thankful that knitting is STILL my passion project, and to have you has a mentor and friend to challenge me! xoxo
thank you Laura! you are a great example of someone living their passion project and so happy to have you as a mentor and friend to challenge me :-)
Hi M! I really want to listen to this but for some reason it stops after just a few minutes. I tried it 3 times, both the mp3 player and in iTunes. Any one else having a problem with it? Any ideas?
Hi B! are you listening to it in a device or on your computer? if a device, you will have to download the MP3 to listen. Otherwise it should play through your computer.
Tried a 4th time. :( Right when it gets to the good part, when you mention a new project that may put you in the industry it quits. I'm listening on my mac computer. Waa.
oh man! that's a bummer. I'm sorry about the technical difficulties. Looks like I need to research a new audio player. Just let me know, did you download the mp3 file to your computer? and it's still not playing? or are you trying to listen to it directly from the post?
Got it! Before I was opening it in a separate window. This time I downloaded it to my computer and was able to click on it to listen. Yay!

Still working on my passion project, yes! I suspect that some people aren't following theirs because 1) they don't know what it is or 2) They are supporting (or trying to support) families with something that is not their passion and can't justify leaving that when there are college tuitions, aging parents, etc to contend with. It's a lot easier to take a risk when you are young!
so glad it finally worked! and you are right, those are all the very valid reasons we do not always live our passion project
Hi Marisa,

I have just found your Podcast after reading your book over the Christmas Hols. I think like Betz said the reason some people aren't living their passion is because they don't know what it is. That is totally the position I am in at the moment and trying to work out what it is through small projects. My major passion is just to sit and scribble ideas for characters, products, cartoons etc etc in my sketchbook and that is what I do a lot in my spare time. I work some of them up into designs, but ultimately the scribbling of ideas is the thing I love. If only I could think or a way to make that my living :).

In order to live your passions I think first you need to know the passion to focus in on.

All the best

Tara
