8" x 8" acrylic on canvas

A move is often the very thing to get you opening in a new direction creatively. I feel new colors and themes percolating...I have no idea where it will go but for the first painting created in the studio, I was inspired to paint a sunset from our neighborhood. I find the light to be particularly beautiful here.

My almost twelve years in this city - it’s taken a while - but I love it more everyday. Los Angeles is a pretty amazing place to live.
