You started this video challenge thing in 2009? Holy crap, it's been a while.

It certainly feels like a lot of conversations are moved onto Facebook rather than in the comments section of the blog. And the feedback (or gratification, if you will) is so much more immediate, and definitely more people will 'like' than leave a comment.

I still feel the need to keep a blog though. It's a home base, less noisy, and everything is just so much more distilled.

I made a video for Christmas / new year too. It's one minute long. You will enjoy it. And yes, it has puppets. Take a look. =)

Yay good to see you back! I agree the blogging thing has changed. So many people are using Twitter and Facebook to communicate now, oh and Instagram my fav! I haven't been blogging as much either, I think it still is a way of creative expression but who knows where it will go?

Happy New Year! And interesting to hear your thoughts on blogging. I think blogging for businesses is evolving, so many quicker ways to connect with an audience who is also low on time. While on the one hand, I MISS regular updates from people like you who are writing less often, I also don't frequent my favorite blogs nearly as much as I used to.

Happy New Year Marisa. Its funny, I intended to come hear this video and ended up listening to your pace yourself podcast from 2011, instead! Which, natch, ended up being just the thing I needed to hear. Thank you for your honesty and energy and calm way. You give us all strength and inspiration. For me, today, it was to slow down . . . I don't need it all done by tomorrow. We're running a marathon or more, aren't we? I, too, am curious how the blog universe will all shake out. I feel like I missed a facebooking and pinterest revolution in the last 6 months while I was moving cross-country!
