black & white + red

Black & white + red
6 x 6 in.

You can see that my present craving for space and clarity are making their way into my painting ~ that and ~ this past week I spotted a dalmatian sitting in the back of an old Chevy truck that was painted black and white with red rims on the wheels. Classic.

Oh, and if you haven’t noticed? Garbo is also my muse these days. I wonder how many paintings she will find her way into?

Hiee there sweet Marisa, i did notice the space in your new paintings...now i know the inspiration that lies behind it. :) Garbo and that adorable dalmation are both so adorable! Everytime i see a dalmation, it always remind me of my late aunty, she had beautiful dalmation family. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and everything you wanted it to be. Have a lovely merry happy week ahead and love to you!

It's darling! I just love it. And the little red bird is perfect. Your work is all so wonderful. Thanks for the smile. :)

Nice rendition. But you should have taken a photo of the Chevy and the Dalmatian, so we can see your inspiration. How about doing a series starring those cartoons individually?
