one year ago today...

We're in paris 3

'we’re in Paris again' - 8 x 24 in.

One year ago today...we were on our way to Paris! Oooooh!!! Now that was six weeks of pure bliss!!

The inspiration from that one trip may be the opening to a brand new opportunity for which this painting was created...

I’m so happy we went.

I cannot wait to go again.

I wish we were there right now.

You know, I usually have mixed feelings about balloons. A part of me is thinking, "Aw, look at them flying high in the sky! How awesome that they get to soar like that!" At the same time I am also feeling a sense of loss, "Aw, I'll never see those balloons again."

But this is a happy one. =)

I can't believe it is a year since you were off to Paris, I have followed your blog quietly for a long time and can't believe how quickly a year has passed!

I remember exactly that day... I read your post and I was living in Malmo, Sweden... I remember me thinking in you, in Paris and how much I love that city... and today, I m here again... rs... good night!

You're so right about the balloons Kelvin. Watching them fly away is always a little bittersweet. I like to think of them as being set free. And don't you always wonder where they go?
