bunny in a boat + happy year of the rabbit!

Bunny in a boat sm
6 x 6 in.

Is that how you say it "happy year of the rabbit"? According to the Chinese Zodiac, today is the day: the Year of the Rabbit begins. Seeing as how I tend to favor rabbits in my art work, especially lately...did you notice? I’m sort of loving this new year from a creative inspiration stand point especially. I anticipate a lot of bunnies making appearances in the coming months...

I was so creatively inspired today, I managed to get in a painting along with the Valentine’s and I almost forgot it was Thursday? Whaaa?! But of course it was Thursday. They are almost always one of my best days of the week, which is absolutely why I chose to call this company Creative Thursday not Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.

The year of the rabbit is said to bring "Peace". I for one am looking forward to that. {ok fine I’m up for a little adventure too, as is this bunny in his boat ;)}

I love this painting. The swoopy sea, the adventurous bunny, the jolly flags on the boat. Adorable and happy.
Great bunny! What better way to start a New Year than with a sense of adventure.
You painted the water beautifully.
Personally, I think "Bunny in a boat" is the best way to say "Happy Year of the Rabbit." This is really beautiful. You should do more paintings featuring water. I grew up sailing and living on (near) the ocean, so maybe that's why this appeals to me so. (Though I must currently be living under a rock because I neither knew it was Chinese New Year, nor the Year of the Rabbit...)
