Who's going to be creative with me today?

Marisa_apronsm

One of the biggest reasons I hear from people about why they aren’t more creative is TIME, not enough of it.

As you know many of us woke up this morning with one extra hour. ONE WHOLE EXTRA HOUR.

Creatively, that is a good chunk of time, and I for one say that if you can at all relate to the first sentence ~ how about you treat yourself to using that one hour for creativity today? I know I fall into the category above more than I care to admit, and I know that I woke up this morning dedicated to taking this extra hour to paint.

So how about it? Care to join me?

I know this is a bit spontaneous, seeing as how many of you are also a few hours ahead of my time zone, so if you can’t commit to it today, why not try to give yourself that extra hour some time this week. If you do, leave me a comment with a link to what you made, even if it was just a start and is not complete. Does not matter. It’s all about giving something to yourself. I’m assuming that those of  you who visit me here, are equally as passionate about having creativity in your life {otherwise this blog would probably annoy you ;-)}, and that a gift to you, as it is for me, would be the gift of time to create.

Let me know what you make! happy impromptu Creative Sunday

I'm jut about to start! Photos for the book on tap and maybe some hand work.
(of course, those of us with kids didn't really get that extra hour.
Having painted quite a bit yesterday, I used that extra hour (and then some) today to catch up on the art magazines that have been piling up waiting for me to find that elusive quality time to spend with them :-)
No pictures yet to show for it but you definitely gave me that friendly push this morning and even though I didn't get to it til late at night I did in fact use my extra hour for starting a winter wonderland painting. It's cold here today so that helped too! Thanks for keeping the inspiration going :)
i was creative for most of the day... i took my extra hour and i ran with it! ;-)
So happy with the extra hour! Got some knitting done on some art projects for a gallery show and now moving on to update the blog!
Marisa;
Oh how I loved your post today! I did get some painting and creating in yesterday! You are always an inspiration to me and I must say, I love that apron you are wearing! You and I could be twins!!!!! I love mine and I know it has everything to do with my creating successes!!! Your aprons have been well represented at both Squam experiences this year!!!!

Look at you in that cute apron of yours and those sneakers! Love it!
Marisa this is a lovely idea. It's all too easy to loose any extra time we have with things that don't matter in the long term. An hour of creativity is a great idea. We don't get day light savings here but I've been waking up an hour earlier each day to get ahead of the kids which has been leaving me with a clean house before I know it!

Today I added one extra hour of creativity and I blogged it too! I'm feeling very royal.

Dearest sweet Marisa, this is such a wonderful idea. I gift myself at least one hour of creativity every night after a long day at day job. I'm creating something bit by bit per day and it's kinda wonderful to see how it comes together eventhough my progress is slow. Have a lovely merry happy day and love to you!
