I designed some aprons

IMG_2782

But only 3 of them, ever. {ok, fine. maybe the use of the word 'ever' is a bit strong ~ but for now, in this moment, only 3 exist}

I have one that I wear when I paint, when I teach, and I love it!! I just listed the other two, one of each "I am a Thriving Artist" designs over at the shop. {*Edit October 7* aprons are sold out} I also hand embroidered a little decorative trim on each one. The best part of the design, it comes with not one but three pockets for you to keep your supplies handy...especially if your like me and you’re constantly losing your awl...

Hope you enjoy them!

These are SO great Marisa! LOVE them, especially the extra touch with the ribbon!
Very fun!
Marisa, the simplicity of your work is so relaxing. They remind me that art does not have to be complicated to be beautiful. I always enjoy your blog and your work. Beautiful aprons!
Dearest sweet Marisa, these aprons are gorgeous and i adore that one with the papillon design. :) Have a lovely merry happy day and love to you!
What a lovely blog you have!
These aprons are beautiful. I can only imagine how inspired the wearer will feel.

And did I miss a post about your ebook? Looks fascinating. Would love to hear how it came about and forgive me if you already posted about it. I just always enjoy hearing about your creative process.
I love them! Looks like i'm 2 days too late though.And wow they sold out in a day? Looks like everyone had the same idea as I did. :)
You didn't miss it Estelle. I kind of stealthily put the e-book on my blog...I will say something about it soon. It was actually written in late 2006 just as all of this was beginning to take off for me, and it's been available on my website up until now.
