accountability ~ day 22

I’m back again! A year in the making, 30 video blog posts. Welcome to day 22. This one runs about 6 minutes.

Some thoughts on accountability, how it helps and inspires your creativity. It’s my accountability, my promise to you that I would complete 30 videos, that’s making me finish this project I began last July. Can you believe it’s been a year already? Turns out I’m really liking making videos now. Only took 12 months of practice ;)

It’s also my accountability to my e-course students that makes me committed to creating videos every week, which happens to  always encourage me to make a new video for you. You know, once the camera’s rolling, might as well keep it rolling.

Most of us are accountable to our jobs, right? We show up every day for work, or we would be fired. We show up every day for our families because they need us, our children are dependent upon us. This kind of accountability for most of us, makes things happen. What if we were that accountable to our own well being, and then what if that commitment to taking care of us spilled over into making creativity in our lives one of our highest priorities?

you are so ADORABLE! xo
Yep. I'd never get organized if I didn't post about it on my blog. Love the ending of your video with your button trouble, I love how real you are on these videos...just like in real life.
You are so sweet! Just like the art you created. :)
Love your video. Thank you!
I agree that a blog can bring so many good things... I think it's like doing things together...it's always more enjoyable having company along with your creative journey!
yes! we love the deadlines!
And LOVE that you still "don't have the button thing down" yet! (so cute..)
Thank you for the virtual hug! You look so refreshed I love that. Lot's to think about thank you xx
Love that you came back to the video project! It's a good reminder that just because I don't finish all things now doesn't mean they won't patiently wait for me until later. Yet, I definitely resonate with the accountability thoughts, too! Great stuff, as usual.

And while I loved the virtual hug, I'll get to see you at Squam very soon and look forward to giving you a real one! I can't wait to meet you and Susannah in person - you guys are the top reasons I decided to go!
