What would you like to know?

Blondes_final

Have you met Susannah? She is the super talented, lovely, lady behind
Ink on My Fingers, including all those gorgeous polaroids, {that I adore ~ the lady’s got a gift with the polaroid, that is for sure}
She also founded the now wildly popular Unravelling e-course. I originally came to know Susannah several years ago through this blogging world and also through our friend Swirly. Our first introduction to one another outside of email was through a few Skype dates, and then we finally had the chance to meet in person at Squam last September. And maybe you’re wondering about the reference to Aquarian Twins ~ well, we also discovered that we were born literally hours apart in February 1973.

Maybe it’s no coincidence that we have both come to do the work we do? That we love it, and also put so much of our heart and soul into it.

As Susannah mentioned on her blog we definitely share a passion for our online classes, and are both committed to making them the best they can possibly be. With more and more e-courses popping up every day, and many more of you thinking about starting them ~ who now reach out to us with your questions, we thought we’d share with you what we’ve learned. We’ve decided to work together and create something we hope will be really useful: a downloadable podcast on how to create and run an online class with integrity & passion. There will also be a full transcript of the podcast to print out and keep and the whole thing will be available for purchase later this year.

On our way to Paris, {next week already!} we will also be stopping  in England for a few days, where Susannah and I will meet to work on this course~ the reason why we’re both posting this announcement today.  If you’ve been thinking about creating your own course, what would you like us to cover in the podcast? What would be most useful to you? What do you want to know about running an online course?

We’ll be putting everything we know into this package and we want to make sure we’re addressing the questions you’d like answered, so please leave them here in the comments or also feel free to email me, and as Susannah suggested, use the subject header 'aquarian questions'

Can’t wait!!!!

Hello fellow Aquarian! We are flying into London and visiting Haslemere, and Bath.
Aloha dear Marisa! You two, are very profesionaly Artist! Hope that all will be fine with you, in your great travel! Sorry that I cannot listen your podcast, because I little don''t understand english conversation, but I know that you helped very much, a few my friends with your podcast! Bravo!
Ourevoir cher ami!!! :)
yay for Bath! x
Hi Marisa: My son is an aquarian also. He was born on February 17 and just turned 13. He is a competitive swimmer, funny how a zodiac sign can define you. I am so glad that you posted about the e-course. I have been teaching design courses here in Reno and would love to be able to add an e-course for my friends and clients that don't live in my little part of the world. I don't have any specific questions just anxious to hear what you have to say. Also so excited to be taking your e-course in Paris with you. It is one of my favorite cities (that I have not yet visited) and I am so excited to share it with you over the next month. Thanks so much for being so inspiring.....
I too am an Aquarius...

Wondering mostly about the crazy balance between trying to parent young children and trying to launch a creative career...
Man, you are such an inspiration - always pushing and coming up with new and interesting things to do and ways to make us think.

My struggle with e-courses is in trying to communicate the visual in just a podcast. When you work on tactile and visual topics it is hard to translate that. Advice?
You both are forces of nature!

I would love to know what you think the future holds for online courses... As everything online seems to change and change quickly, I'm curious about where you think e-courses are going and what they will look like a year from now.

Wonderful insights are bound to be discovered by you two!

xx pixie
I love this idea! I'd like to know everything about building an e-course:) Setting up, how you outline the 'syllabus' connect to paypal, set up a secure site for your students, include flickr, pricing, the best place to set up an e-book/workbook, yup, all of it;) Also, how to get readers interested in joining/trusting that you have a legitimate class and great information to share. Thank YOU for sharing your genuine knowledge! I'm sure I have more questions, but I'm still kind of waking up.
This sounds great! I sent you an email - my questions got too lengthy for here :)
