Wyatt's Life Rules

Wyatt's Rules for Living 11.18

Next week we will be spending Thanksgiving with Sean’s family of which Wyatt is a member. He’s one of my favorite people on the planet ~ the sweetest. A person full of joy, excitement for life and wisdom which you can see above. He’s also 5 years old.

I’m thinking life could and should really be this straightforward and I also laughed so hard, I cried. I thought this might bring you a little smile today.

That is the cutest. Thanks for sharing, I needed a good laugh today ;)
Never complain and never throw things off decks. LoL
Never drop a chicken...and....don't throw a bird. There must be a story!
What a cool 5 year old! Great rules!
Brilliant :)
I thought the same thing Christine did, above. Has Wyatt, um, been in trouble for chicken-dropping or bird-tossing??

Oh man, that is a GREAT list. His wife (and kids) will cherish that one day!!
Wiat a minute. Is #10 "Never kick your friend" or "Never LICK your friend"??

No judgement...just wondering. :)
i love it - i think i'm going to pass them onto my 3.5 year old
Oooh, never complain!? None of us would ever be able to keep that rule in our house! How does he do it?? My favorite is "Never say yuck to someone else's food"! Hilarious!
:)
I LOVE this little insight into the mind of a 5 year old - you can nearly hear the wheels churning as he tries to process everything he's learning along the way. The world can be a pretty bewildering place for such a little person, but he sounds like he's got it sorted. Hilarious!!
Words to live by!
oh my gosh...I smiled all the way through this list...it sounds like a list of things his parents must have told him...or rather, it sounds like what I tell my children pretty much every day. How interesting to hear it from a 5 year old back at you. :)
Hah! fabulous rules~!! Do most 5 year olds write that well??
