beneath the stars :: new gocco prints in the shop!

Stars gocco 1 2

Friday already?! It IS!

I’ve had a really good, busy week, that has included catching up, I mean REALLY catching up, preparing for classes at Squam and online with the next e-course, all while delving further into my new found passion for a "simpler life" ~ another reason I’ve been a bit scarce here on the blog and a topic I plan to expand on soon.

Remember the new gocco prints I left you with last week? I have decided to embellish each one with original painting, and some mixed media {bunnies need dresses and skirts, you know}. They are a limited edition of 19 and due to the original embellishments, no two are alike. They will be titled, signed and numbered in light pencil. I’ve just listed the first three in the shop today.

Also I wanted to say thank you to Noelle for inviting me to share my thoughts on working from my home studio over at her blog. Not only is Noelle aka PinkBathtub and Jetsetpaper one of my favorite designers, but she’s just one of those online friends that I know I’d enjoy visiting with in person ~ one of the reasons is probably because she enjoys a good glass of wine as much as I do.

Speaking of a glass of wine....is it wine o’clock yet? And on that note, happy Friday!

These are adorable! Well it's 5 pm here in Toronto so I'll have a glass of my fave Robert Mondavi Sauvignon Blanc. Cheers and have a great weekend Marisa.
I need to check out that post - cursing the water repair guys who rang the doorbell which caused the dogs to park which woke up sleeping babes. So much for my studio time.

Very cute prints.
so cute!!!
I love these, Marisa! Perfect that you've added embellishments -- the colors are fantastic.
What a creative way to gocco. I always feel like I need to create the entire image on the screen, it's nice to see work like yours that uses gocco as just one tool.
Nice work!
These gocco prints are gorgeous! I really love the mixed media of dresses and skirts! Have a lovely merry happy day and love to you! Happy weekend!
Loved "catching up" with you the other day! I'm going to try to implement your email checking schedule next week and see how it goes.
so cutesy! I love your art marisa, your fast becoming my favorite!
I love these--they're beautiful! I've been lusting after a gocco printer myself! I love the hand-painted idea!
These are so cute! I just bought one - I couldn't resist. Thank you!
Don't you just love the Gocco Press. I do something a bit similiar, adding mixed media and ink embellishments to my prints. So fun.
