Transforming my Life in 30 days? A video experiment

What’s this? Is Marisa doing videos now?
Quite possibly yes. We shall see. This is my public commitment to myself, a personal video experiment of sorts shared publicly on my blog. The Creative Thursday blog is turning 3 this month and it’s time to try something new. What it will all be exactly, how it will evolve, I’m not sure...but I’m starting....something.

I hope you’ll come along for the trip, maybe you can play along and make your own 30 day experiment? But if you need to check out of the blog for the next month or so, no worries. You should know that it will still be blogging as usual here. And to accompany the "usual",  just a little 3-dimensional visiting time with the person behind this blog, me, Marisa.

Oh and I meant to say "if you feel mostly excited & a little scared" you should go for it. If you feel "no excitement & mostly scared", you should definitely re-think your plan.

I have never done anything with video ~ maybe someday! (My favorite part was at the end...where you said goodbye, then paused, found the button and said goodbye again ~ with a smile!

yay! i'm looking forward to this:) I've been thinking in my own studio these last few days about your recent post about being yourself/true to yourself. I'm anticipating these videos giving me more fodder for studio thinking!

You know, after hearing your voice in all these audio podcasts, and seeing your pictures, it's kinda an interesting experience to see the two aspects (audio and visual) join together in a video. Looking forward to more!

Lovely intro and leading by example to just go for it and see where an idea might take you! I like the videos a lot, so looking forward to them all! And good luck! :P

Good morning! It's so nice to "see" you. Great idea to do this. I agree you are very brave! Isn't Michael great? I wish I could have taken that course, but my bank account wouldn't let me! :) It will be interesting to hear your progress and how it works for you.

Don't worry about perfection, you are among friends! And friends don't care if you stutter or hit the off button just right. ; )
But if you really hate how the videos end, you could always just smile and hold it for a few seconds. Then whatever stumble occurs while you hit the off button can just be cut off in the editing process.

I love the video idea...it's so compelling and you do it well...smooth..it doesn't all most look like improve at all...so I like when you look down to look for the button.
You could fall of the chair, or spill some coffee..or...oh..see now I want to do some comedy improve...!

Yay, Marisa! A wonderful challenge and how lucky we all are that you will be doing it via video... you do it so well! I'm really happy that you are sharing yourself in this medium with more than your e-course... you have so darn much to share!!
