I'm not the only one doing videos in the family - day 4

You get a double feature today! Me + Sean!

So what’s Sean doing recording videos too? Well ~ he just launched his sketch writing class here in Los Angeles, and this is his way of introducing himself  to his new students :)
Sean is also brand spanking new to the blogging world since this weekend. So head on over and say hello! In the meantime you can close out your Monday with a message from my man who is stuck on Mars.

I love this so much. Even for those of us who are mostly extroverted, "public" speaking has got to rank high on the fear list for so many, right? I would be wise to try to face these fears to release some self consciousness!

I also loved what you said about the evolution of things. Marking those creative rites of passage with clothing/hair changes or big belongings purges are common around here. It seems to take rapid growth to keep up!

Thank you for paving the way! And being so courageous!
Alright, that one caught me off-guard. Haha.

And thanks for inspiring me to clean my room. =)
Wow! If I've helped to inspire this new venture in some way, then I'm thrilled! You're already looking so much more at ease and it's so obvious you're enjoying yourself. As for us, your audience, it's a delight to see and hear your sweet, wise self so often, so everyone wins! Methinks this is going to lead to some very exciting places.....
hello gorgeous! *waves back* can't wait to meet you in September!

you know, i was all fired up and ready to do a video... and then i kinda chickened out. here's what i managed on friday:

<a href="http://inkonmyfingers.typepad.com/ink_on_my_fingers/2009/07/-say-cheese-.html">http://inkonmyfingers.typepad.com/ink_on_my_fingers/2009/07/-say-cheese-.html</a>

I don't know why i'm so resistant to posting a video on my main blog. Okay, i think i do know why: when i record videos for my students, i know what i'm going to say. Sure, i meander and talk about all sorts of things, but at the core of the video is what we're doing that week - the Unravelling assignments etc. i guess i put my 'course leader' hat on and it helps me on camera - and i have an idea of who i'm speaking to.

To record a video for Ink on my fingers feels so much more... revealing? public? Hmmm... the challenge is set really, isn't it. I have to make a *speaking* video and get past these (imagined) road blocks...

I'm never one to back down from a challenge - i'll keep you posted! :)
These videos really are fun and you seem to be enjoying them a lot more too. And look at how many people you're inspiring already - even Sean! Who did a great job with his video btw. Who knows maybe I'll eventually work up the courage to try one. Well, after I figure out the basics, like just getting my blog to be "fancy, sigh :)
It looks like there's a lot of cool stuff happening at your house. I hope you're both having fun. :)
Promises of dancing? You must be loving this already to believe that dancing is coming! I can't wait. =)
I just watched Sean's video and it's so funny! Did he find a way to escape yet?!

Glad you are feeling more at ease with your video blogging :)
