a day away in the surf ~ day 3 v-blog

I had to pop in on day 3 to wish you a happy weekend!! Thanks for all your comments. It really feels like I’m chatting with you, much more than writing to you via a blog post, which should seem obvious right? What I’m trying to say is that this is FUN for me to talk directly to you ~ Also I realized, that I didn’t introduce the new video location to you. Welcome to my desk chair in my studio!

I'm glad to see that you take plenty of time for yourself---I'm still in the beginning phases of my art career, and sometimes it's hard to imagine how to balance everything, so I love to see that you just make it happen!

Also, it's great to get to know you more through these videos--like you said previously, I think the videos are more revealing and less guarded than just words. Happy Surfing!
Enjoying your videos and you already seem more relaxed on day 3. I think you've inspired me to take on a 30 day challenge but not sure what exactly yet. Have a great weekend and looking forward to the next video!
Shark, squirrel... what's with all the animal encounters today?

Heeeeeyyy, you turned it off in one try!
We just watched Surfwise last night and the San Onefre spot was a big part of that! Glad to hear you had a good time. Our beach, New Smyrna, in FLA, I think was voted #1 for shark bites last year. There is always some kind of sea life sighting that gets you "squirrelly" (haha) for a bit, but of course you have to go back, it's the Ocean! Enjoy your weekend!
Have a wonderful weekend Marisa! xxx
Marisa, this is so much fun for me! I am relatively new here, but I've been listening to your inspiring podcasts for the past few weeks... one every few days or so and try to soak in your message! I love your work, and it's so exciting to see you "LIVE". It makes things a lot more interesting and makes me know the person behind the art even better. Thank you! Good luck!
You are magnificent Miss Marisa! You are brave and bold. Thank you for doing this...I shall be tuning in. Oh and I love your bit of advice: "just start".
I give you mad props for doing the videos. Awesome.
Sounds like fun. I've always wanted to try surfing, though living in a landlocked state has forced me to settle for water skiing instead. I lived near the ocean as a kid though, I miss it!
Great experiment Marisa! I completely relate to your urge to do this and will enjoy following along:)
Marisa, gotta say, I'm loving this vlogging thing you've undertaken! While you're quite forthcoming about things it's still nice to see the person "behind" the blog. Unedited and all (love the nervous laughter, myself)! Great job! We'll be watching!
I'll bet your shark was a baby looking for its mum!
