Polar bear & tiny bird

Helloooo and Happy Creative Thursday!!

I didn’t mean to disappear from the blog for an entire week. Truth be told I’ve been a little overwhelmed (in the best possible way) with the enthusiastic response to my e-course. I’ve been speechless, except for twitter posts :) and a guest blog post over at Christine’s. There are still some spaces left, and I’m presently reviewing the class to decide how many that will be. I will be back with an official update soon. Until then all I can say is thank you. And to my new students:  I’ve read through all your emails, and am so inspired. It’s truly an honor to be able to share six weeks with you this summer. And to those of you joining me at Squam, I can’t wait to meet you in just two weeks.

Aside from dealing with earthquakes, (always fun), and taking a personal day, I’ve also been trying to put my creative hat back on, experimenting with new techniques, mediums and surfaces...I know I’ve mentioned this before, but it always becomes clear how vital the "daily" practice of any type of creating is. It tends to keep the creative juices flowing. Having taken a two week hiatus, it’s been a bit of an effort to get back into the swing of things, even though my head is spilling over with new ideas. Sometimes it’s good to take a break to let new inspiration come to the surface, and sometimes the practice of constant creating is exactly what feeds the inspiration.

Since today is Creative Thursday, and some projects are needing my attention, creating is officially on the agenda. I’ll see you back here soon.

These look sweet!

Glad your e-course has been such a success!
Nice to know we can take time off and that actually helps the creative process. I sometimes (often) forget that.

Happy creating!
Eep! Do I see gift tags? So sweet. =)
I love your new gift tags! I've been obsessed with researching Munnys ever since I read your posts about a week ago. I look forward to seeing new work!
Aw, so cute! I need to remember to step away from creating all the time. I know it would re-energize me, but sometimes I'm afraid if I stop, it will be hard to get back. Silly, I know. Sometimes spending an afternoon in the garden or riding my bike just helps clear my head.
These are soooooo cute!
Can't wait to start your e-course

Looks like gift tags to me too...and they are cutee! Love! :D
So happy im able to share six weeks with you this summer and with my new classmates! Have a wonderful week ahead. Love to you!
I feel a little silly asking but I've never taken an e-course before.
Is it something where we all meet online at the same time one day a week, or is it something you post once a week and if someone can't be on at that time they can save the "class" and look at all the information another day? I have kids home for the Summer but would love to do this provided I can get the most I can out f it :)
Thank you in advance for any help!
Congratulations on the successful launch of the e-course! Good things happen to good people :)
