a beyond gorgeous surfboard

I am SO proud of my friend, Outi. This is one of her latest creations, and it is beyond gorgeous ~ I had to share it with you. And of course, as a surfer, I have a special appreciation for this. We, surfer girls love a beautiful board with personality. I really think, from one creative entrepreneur to another, surfing manufacturers should get on this....develop a line of custom boards designed by artists.....any surfboard manufacturers who read this blog???? this is for you :)

I know of a few board makers in town that do a lot of custom art on boards. Most are male, but I know of one female artist. We could definitely use some more. My brother-in-law found some paint online that allows you to paint your own surf board. How cool is that. Karin

Your friend, Outi did an awesome work on the surfboard! Sooo very very goregeous! hehe im with others too can't wait to see when you'll pain one! If you ever plan to paint on one...will you also paint one on a skateboard? I would LOVE to purchase it. :D

You are right, this is a gorgeous gorgeous surfboard! I have always wanted to learn to surf. This would make such a fabulous mural too. What fun!

There are a few talented local artists in my neck of the woods who have put their talents to decorating boards.... and a few very famous artists such as Damien Hirst have had a go in recent years too!
