Save the date!

Birds of a feather
{birds of a feather} 9 x 12 in.

My first solo gallery show! May 2009 at Black Maria Gallery here in Los Angeles. Opening to be announced.

This is an original piece that will be available at the show. Since I have a hard time keeping my creations to myself, you can purchase this one now as print at the shop. You’d think with all the time I’ve been spending on Twitter this week (twitter!!!! you will be the end of me!!!!!), that this painting might be inspired by "tweets". ;)

Marisa!! I've was sucked into a colorful world of creativity for awhile but I am emerging and so glad to finally make it back here!

This is such fantastic news!!!! Your first solo show...I want to pop open the bubbly right now to celebrate you. I hope have celebrated as well. I wish I could be there in May but I will be sending the warmest thoughts and toasting to you from the center of the Big Apple.

I love this piece as well...you made me laugh about the Tweets...it's insane how easy it is to get sucked into Tweetland no?

I m visiting your blog since many months ago and I have you in my blog list.

I like a lot your painting, your special and sensible way to look of the world. For many times i woke up very bored or sad and look your beautiful place inspired me. I never wrote for you i think, but i was very happy to listen that you will have your first solo exibition.

I m glad for you too. Congratulations and I hope that that everything will be ok in the exibition. The interesting was that your paintings for the exibition look very diferent than this that you put in your blog. They are not so naif like this one and the colours are more brown, more serious. Nice.

I m painting for some years too and i just did one simple exibition in one simple place in Brazil, so I can imagine your happiness.

Sorry for my english mistakes. I m brazilian living in sweden. I m mixing everything now. Bye!
