Miles

5 x 5 in.

Because of the daily painting practice, I’m so used to sharing my work with you as soon as I create it. I’m still getting used to this new way of doing things around here, especially the part where I am trying to "save" my newest creations until my show. But here’s one I can give you a sneak peek of. Also inspired by one of my sewn creations from last year, this is Miles. By the way, for those of you who can’t attend the show, all of my paintings will be posted for viewing and purchasing online once the show opens.

hope you had a good and creative Thursday!

I adore that green softie-esque patch on his tummy. So vibrant and verdant.
Marisa, Miles is soo adorable and i love the green soft patch on his tummy too! Oh good news for those of us who can't attend the show! I am looking forward to it! Have a lovely merry happy day and lots of love to you and yours!
Transitions can be so confusing. But I'm sure that once you settle into the new routine it will feel just as comfortable as everyday painting and posting-- which to some people seems ridiculously difficult. I bet you thought that too, before you started doing it.
This is a really sweet painting- thank you for sharing it with us.

A new routine is always weird to begin with isn't it, but after a while it becomes the norm. and then going back to the old routine seems strange!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Marisa! I just found your blog and love it! Your creativity and genuineness is apparent throughout. Here's a little of what I do: www.eatingisart.com. Hope to see you around (the blogosphere, ha, i love that word) sometime!

Best,Tricia
I added you to my Google Reader a while back but never got around to writing you an ACTUAL comment.

So I just wanted to say thanks for the loads of visual and creative inspiration. I love your art work and am thrilled for your success on Etsy.

I opened up an account there two years ago as well, and soon after closed it down because it just was not the right time for me in my life to dive into sales (I have three little kids). I'm excited to get to it when they get older and it's encouraging to see the success that others, like yourself, have with it.

Nice to "meet" you,
Erika (aka Mudspice)
this is adorable, marisa!!
