I saw it!

I’m not really great at highlighting these "hey look at me and my art" moments, but not only is it nice to be recognized, this one is also kind of a funny story.

So I randomly go to Etsy’s home page this week and I notice some art at the top of the page and I think "Hey, look at those little characters. I really like that art! Who’s the artist?"

Then I realize that it’s my art.

I figure this is a good sign, since I inspired myself ~ that maybe just maybe I’m on the right creative path ;)

thanks Etsy!

Yeah I saw them earlier today, too. Pretty, pretty characters on the front page :)

That's so cute that you didn't notice that it was your work right off the bat! =) They looked right at home on the front page. And it's interesting, I was wondering if they had contacted you first, now I know. ; )

I've looked at some old videos I edited, and admire the editing work before. "That was great! How did I do that?" Of course I was also thinking "Hm, I wonder if I can still do that."

Hi Marisa, that's great...don't be shy to toot your own horn...ever:D Did Etsy ask you if they could use your imagery though? if not did it not irk you alittle bit? Just wondering cause I am sensitive about stuff like that...aside from the thrill of seeing your work unexpectedly, ha ha.

I noticed it the other day and instantly recognized them as yours! Yeah, so Etsy didn't ask your permission? Just curious:)

to answer everyone's question about Etsy ~ no they did not ask me or let me know that they were going to use this image.
