Podcast #39 :: A Conversation with Helen Dardik

Helen_dardik_photo1

Another new podcast for you! I won’t go into a lengthy intro to this one. I will just say that if you don’t yet know Helen ~ I’m certain that her humor, honesty and life philosophies will inspire you, and you might just end up adoring her as much as I do after you listen to this. Before this podcast I only "knew" Helen through her blog and now I consider her another friend  that I am so happy to have "met".
Not only is she an amazing illustrator, but she has so much wisdom and insight to share not only about the creative world, but about life and especially parenting, as she is also a mother to 3 little girls ~ (and yes, she still manages to be an incredibly prolific creator)...She does reveal the "secret" as to how she does it all in the podcast ;)

It’s a long one about 53 minutes, and there’s great advice all the way to the very last minute...
Enjoy!!
and many thanks again Helen!!

Marisa, this is so wonderful! I really enjoyed it a lot and there's so much to learn from Helen. I love her advices. This motivates me and pushes me to continue, move forward and just keep creating...doing the things i love. I also love her advice on “a good healthy potion of denial”; I think that’s kinda cool…love that! hehe

I really appreciates this…thank you so much Marisa and Helen! Have a good restful weekend! n__n
Hi Marisa,
I loved listening to your talk with Helen, but the audio stream stops about 15 minutes into the conversation....is there any way to listen to the whole talk?
Another great and insightful podcast! I really enjoyed hearing Helen's story and how it's important to always try and stay in positive frame of mind- even in the tough times. It gave me a boost of creative energy!

I just listened to this, and it's fantastic! I love Helen's work, and her insights were wonderful. And thank YOU for being so inspiring and positive-- it makes such a difference. :)
I just wanted to say that this podcast with Helen was really fantastic and I especially loved the part about just doing it...because so often we don't explore our ideas and dreams due to fear of failure/judgment - or worse, silence! Thanks for sharing - please do more podcasts! :P
I really admire that girl. You are so right with that brief description you had.

Hi! I was trying to listen to this podcast and the link doesn't work. I am a huge Helen Dardik fan and wanted to write about her for our company blog (<a href="http://blog.schipul.com)">http://blog.schipul.com)</a> I would greatly apreciate it!
Hi Isabelle! Yes, sorry about that. I upgraded my website and lost connection to some files in the process. I hope to be adding the links back again soon!
Hi there, do you plan on reconnecting this link anytime soon? I'm dying to hear the interview :) Thanks!
