everything is always going to be alright

Everything's always going to be alright
6 x 6 in.

Over our usual coffee time this morning, Sean and I were talking about what people might need to hear right now and this saying came to mind, "everything is going to be alright". And since Sean has been my muse of late, the saying became a painting. I decided to add the "always". Because I think it’s true. Hard to see sometimes, but always true when I look back over my life. In fact no matter what is going on in each of our lives this is such a nice and soothing sentiment to keep in mind.

So this painting is symbolic of all of those beautiful things happening around each one of us to support us in the knowing that everything is going to be alright. And the rabbit of course is peacefully admiring it all. (this particular rabbit has the "peaceful thing" all figured out)

I realize that these blog posts and daily painting emails are more than just a way to sell an original painting ~ although that is always so nice! but many of you have written to me telling me that you await these images every day because they bring you so much joy. And as I’ve mentioned so many times before, painting these gives me so much joy. And I think of you when I paint, and I think of me and what we might be feeling or needing on a particular day and it goes into every painting. Today I need to be reminded of this sentiment just as much as many of you might need it. That and I’m loving soft pinks and greens with tiny white rabbits.

I also want to say thank you to those of you who have been leaving comments saying that my creative journey that I share here with you, inspires you to keep going on yours. You should know that the feeling is mutual because your support and enthusiasm is what keeps me going....and all of YOU who are taking the journey, no matter where you are on it, inspire me.

I have to tell you that you are the absolute BEST! I really, really, really mean that!

This little painting and the sentiments that it conveys are so true. I believe that indeed, EVERYTHING is going to always be okay. Maybe at the time it doesn't seem like it, but you have to keep on believing and vocalizing it. We all need to hear it and more importantly really believe it.

We are all where we are suppose to be at this very moment, in our individual life, right now.

There are many moments in my life when I need to remember this sentiment. I love the feeling this painting gives, the fresh, soft yet bright colors and calming rabbit. Wonderful!

If I were to draw this, the bunny would have a huge cheese smile on his/her face. Then again, I like cheesy stuff better than most people.

Hieee Marisa! I also want to say THANK YOU so much for all the love and support you have sent my way! You have in every bit and every way inspired me. I love this painting and the sentiment behind it. Come to think of it, i use this sentiment quite offten. Yes i believe everything is going to be just alright! n_n

What a lovely post! I'm positive about the future too- it's tough out there but I've learnt that human beings have a remarkable talent to adapt and get through the bad times, don't you think?

This is exactly what I needed this week, you have no idea, or maybe you do. A few years back I woke up every morning and started my day off with a song that was sure to put me in the mood for anything that came up that day. It was "Float On" by Modest Mouse and it had that exactly line, that everything will be alright.

I Love this painting ~ especially because my husband told me he saw a bunny in our back yard this morning and later when I went out side with the kids we saw bunny tracks in the snow ~so cool!
