Olives with a Bunny

Olives & bunny

Hope everyone had a nice weekend, and holiday here in the states! This year, for the first time in a very long time, we decided not to travel for the holidays and I have to say that while we missed seeing family, we had the best Thanksgiving with friends and the long weekend felt longer, and SO much more relaxed. We even got our tree up and decorated. You can imagine if I love Christmas lights so much, how much I ADORE the Christmas tree. I want to enjoy it for as many days as I can each year (and now I am not leaving it’s side) As I type this I am sitting next to it, lit even though it is daytime :), with Christmas music on in the background. Did I mention how much I LOVE this time of year?

I’m getting ready for the BIG update this Thursday, December 4 and will let you know an official update time tomorrow, Wednesday, as I see what kind of progress I make today.

I did want to tell you that a couple of Olives and a Bunny will be in the update as well!

Also this weekend, December 6 & 7~ I am going to be live and in person with my work here in L.A. at a special show called Local World’s Fair, sponsored by Good Magazine. I will be one of several local Etsy sellers invited to participate. Should be a lot of FUN! If you are in the area I hope you can make it out.

Olive and Bunny look so cute and ready for Christmas. It sounds like your ready too. I just put my wreath up by the front door. That's as far as I've gotten today.
I am so excited and looking forward to Creative Thursday Update. Do you know that when I go into Starbucks to buy my coffee that I think of you when they put a jacket on my drink. Those jackets have a whole new meaning to me now.
Oh, and by the way, Congratulations on being choosen to participate in the Local fair. That should be fun. I wish I lived closer to you so I could attend.
Happy Monday and have fun creating.

Hugs,
Karen
Such pleasant FUN to see my two favorites Creative Thursday characters, Olive and Bunny! Yep they sure do look like they are ready for Christmas! My fiancé and family are waiting for me to be there in Germany before putting up the Christmas tree. I’m hoping and praying that I’m able to land a few orders from your big Thursday update! Would be so much fun to have Amber’s wooden toys and your tiny prints to hang as ornaments! SO I am too getting ready for this thursday BIG update. n_n I wish too i stay close so i could go visit you at the local fair. >_< Sounds alot like fun and congrats on being choosen to participate.
Have a great creative green monday! (Is color week here on my little bubble space and monday happens to be a green day n_n)
hi Marisa,
I'm loving these adorable little guys.
I also want to say that while I haven't been able to comment in far too long I am really moved by your trajectory by way of authenticity. After several months hiatus on my own blog, I took that as a starting point before writing my most recent post. And I really surprised myself with what I came up with (pleasantly). Thank you for continuing to be a source of inspiration through your actions.

cute ornaments!! I have been making quite a few myself these days and have a template over on my blog for all who want it! Ahh the holidays, we haven't gotten our tree yet since we do not want it to dry out, but the kids are looking forward to it.
Olive and Bunny are ADORABLE! I was delighted when I saw them here. I'm so excited for your update tomorrow...what fun!
Congrats on being chosen - what a wonderful treat. Good luck I am sure it will be great.
I'll be back tomorrow...oh it's like waiting for Santa!
what cute little ornaments! your thanksgiving sounds nice. sometimes one with friends is just what you need--not that I don't love to see my family, but one of my favorite thanksgivings ever was spent just with friends. great memories!
