letting go in the space between

Detail of
detail of "We all Flock to Ruby" available as a print over at Etsy

I know it has been way too long since my last podcast, and trust me when I say that writing and recording them is as meaningful for me as it is for you. My plan is to be back again with a new one soon, but in the meantime, Holly invited me to be a guest blogger while she is settling into her new, second, home in Germany. So for today, you can read what would be a podcast in article form over at Decor8 today. It’s called "letting go in the space between."
I hope you enjoy the article ~ and thanks again Holly for inviting me to share my thoughts over at your blog, that I love so much.

I loved reading your heartfelt advice, Marisa--- always a treat!
Fabulous article Marisa, and not just for creative people. I LOVE this:

Part of the delicate dance we learn in our life is how to find happiness in the times between the dream and the realization of that dream, a place I will call the space between. Because what you come to realize is that this is where you actually live, every day, in the space between.
Your post over on Decor8 was wonderful Marisa-beautiful and inspiring. Congratulations on your new book!!
I read your article in decor8 and felt overwhelmed. I need to understand that "letting go" part of the proscess. I see it right now as "it's all about the ride", but it gets really hard at times, and life makes you feel that if you're not truly commited to your dream, you'll never make it.

I had a big explanation of what I'm going through right now to fulfill my dreams, but it got too long, and I guess it is not too different from the rest of your readers (except that I'm mexican and I'm really fighting not to succumb to the temptation of fleeing to europe where you can actually make a living out of creativity).
Words like yours give us the strenght to stay up all night working on our dreams.
Thank you.
Hey Marisa
Your article was awesome and just what I needed to hear right now, thank you.
