duncan

I also had to share a recent commission of adorable, sweet, duncan ~ Yes, he is a dog under there. And he really has dreads for fur. I’m not sure what breed he is, but Duncan is definitely one of my new favorites.

(also you should know...I’m releasing 9 more tiny portraits tomorrow at the shop ~ and they are so very cute ~ if you don’t snatch them up, I’ll be happy to keep them here with me. I’ll let my daily painting subscribers know first and then I’ll announce it here at the blog)

Oh, what a cutie. I just love dogs. I grew up with Brittany Spaniels. I've never had one as an adult though. My husband and I chose cats instead. Actually, I think it was our kids who decided that we needed two cats and we've had one or two around ever since. I love them so and can't imagine life without them.
Our pets bring us such joy and companionship.
Thanks for sharing Duncan with us.
TOTAL cuteness!! Those dready-locked dogs are fabulous, and your piece captures the fabulousness wonderfully.

Ooh, since Duncan appears to be a black dog, my guess is that he's a Hungarian Puli (plural: pulik-- say it out loud-- isn't it a fun word?). If he were white, I'd say Komondor. :)
