Podcast #33 :: Trust the Process

Single leaf

As promised, a new one! Enjoy. While having trust certainly brought me this far, I still have to gently remind myself to keep on trusting the process, and in the words of Michael Neill, "just do what’s next" which at this moment is post this podcast!

Good podcast Marisa!
Also, thanks a bunch for all the good advise today on decor8 site regarding licensing.
Marisa,
You did it again! You gave me hope! I am not supposed to be at home right now, but rather at my brother's side at the hospital. But I didn't have time for breakfast or lunch and upon calling him he strongly suggested that I go home and sit down to have a proper lunch. Which I did ... in front of my computer... checking out my fav websites. One of them is yours and to my surprise I hear that my earlier message to you inspired you for today's podcast. All of sudden, I was all ears and my day just got brighter. My bro must have known that there was more than food for my stomach awaiting me at home. It was food for my soul. After having listened to this podcast, I truly trust now that I am on the right path and will take all the necessary actions to pursue and succeed. What you said at the beginning about the type A personality and the feeling of being overwhelmed suits me to a T. Or I should say suits the OLD me. From now, I will be all about the doing and trusting my instincts and perseverance.

Once again, thank you, Marisa. Your podcasts are to-the-point, full of insights and you voice is very soothing. I will also check out Michael Neill`s radio show.

Until next Thursday!

I can't wait to make time to listen to this over the weekend. Great to see you back to the regular podcasts because your voice inspires so many!

And I second what Helen said, that you so much for giving your advice over on my blog, it was great to read your thoughts.

I nearly died when the manager from Surtex jumped in on the conversation and Lille Rogers invited me over to her studio in Boston for tea!! She is huge in these parts as far as reps go, so I hope to take her up on the offer very soon.

It's amazing what kind of blog community we're a part of. I had a mediocre week and then I decided to write about a topic that would get others involved and that was an instant pick-me-up. I find that there really is 'more happiness is giving' and that when you put your voice out and ask for help, or give encouragement or much-needed advice, it really comes back 10 fold. I guess that's what you feel whenever you put out a podcast, right?

Holly
Marisa, thanks for another wonderful podcast! You put such great, positive energy into the universe!!
Hugs to you,

This podcast is fantastic thank you Marisa! I totally agree about Michael Neill, he is fab. I love his new cd's and he is the one who led me to your website.
"it really comes back 10fold" so true Holly ~ I definitely feel the same about podcasting ~ It means so much to share and feel like you're making a difference in someone living their dreams.
Thank you for this encouraging podcast. I found it through Holly's decor8 blog & am so glad. I started out as a commercial photographer 27 years ago in L.A.. It didn't take me long to realize that my dream was not what I thought. I quit the commercial work & hung a "fine art" shingle. See: http://www.zoe-design.com/Photo/pindex.htm . I married Lena & started working with her around the same time & now we have finally found our niche. See: http://www.zoe-design.com . My point is that we are only just having commercial success after 27 years. You must evolve & not be afraid to change while following your dreams.
Thankyou so much Marissa! That was beautiful. I found you via Decor 8 and I just loved this podcast on trust.
It's heading towards 5 o'clock on a Friday afternoon here in Melbourne, and I'm downloading just one more of your podcasts to get me through to the end of the day (and the working week).

I've developed a bad(?) habit of darting around design and art blogs in between tasks at work. ok fine, occasionally DURING tasks at work. The likes of notcot.com and decor8 have been inspiring me for a few months now, though while they make me yearn to be more of a do'er than a viewer, up to this point I haven't been able to gather the strength to act on this inspiration.

However I must say that following a link here has been on of the highlights of my week, and where all these fantastic bloggers out there have nudged me up to a threshold, it has been your podcasts that have encouraged me to step over the line into actually doing something of my own.

I've resolved to head home tonight and reclaim some space in our garage-turned-studio and draw/paint/make something. Thankyou for sharing your words and ideas - I will definitely be checking back for future podcasts.
Love it, love it! You're such an inspiration and how nice to do this for these two special gals!!
