the gang celebrates love

8 x 6 in. (and incase you’re new to the blog and don’t yet know these characters, from left to right Simone, Ruby, Panda, Bunny, little Sackbelly, Lucille, Bart, Lola, Lovey and Hughey)

Ok, I’ve had this one up my sleeve for a few weeks now. I couldn’t wait to paint it today. It was painted by a girl in love while listening to her LOVE playlist on her ipod, while baking another heart shaped cake for her LOVE that she is so happy to have in her life.
I LOVE this day, because of course it’s Creative Thursday, and it’s a day all about LOVE. So I and the gang are sending a special LOVE wish to all of you today.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

and it is also available as a print over at Etsy

Thanks for the introduction! I first saw your work in artful Blogging and thought it was so sweet and fresh! I had to come see more on the blog. I will be keeping my eyes open for a perfect gift for myself.

I found you on Etsy today, and I thought "Well, I like her stuff a lot so I think I'll take a look at her blog."
And I'm glad I did!
I didn't read much into your "year of daily paintings" but the name sounds rad, so there you go.
(:
I love your work, keep going, please, and perhaps I'll buy some stuff!

thanks for noticing the t-shirt Cathy! It's one of my favorite parts :)
It was meant to be a sweater and now it's sort of a t-shirt, sleep shirt...It's fun to put the gang in clothes!
