marisa that was beautiful. i just now found your podcasts and look forward to listening to all of them. your words about this resonated so much i got shivers. i can't tell you how inspiring your words are and how comforting it is to know that there is someone else thinking about these things, feeling these things and finding that 'stillness' you spoke of. accepting and learning how to harness that sensitivity that is so vital. for me as a painter its sometimes easy to feel a bit like a sailboat alone on a vast ocean. you reminded me that we're not all alone out here. thank you and i can't wait to listen to the rest of your podcasts. b.

Hello Marisa, I just discovered your podcasts and your blog. I have been doing a lot of soul searching and reading on being an artist and thinking how there is so little support for aspiring artists. I am just coming to terms with my wanting to have a creative career and what that means. I agree that creative types are so sensitive, and it is often seen as a negative thing. Thank you for discussing something so important and giving me more clarity. On another note, you're podcasts are inspiring me to start adding a similar slant to my blog. I'm hoping to start adding some creative exercises and ideas from the books I've been reading. Thanks so much for what you're doing, and I'm excited to listen to all of your podcasts.
