dahlias in a row

Gotta keep it interesting over here, so I decided to paint something totally different from little white birds with red hats who are in love ;) who are living happily ever after, by the way.
(original is sold) ...so I listed it as a print over at Etsy. It’s too pretty not to keep sharing it. *Edit* January 30 - In fact, it’s so pretty displayed over a sofa in Holly’s post this morning (thank you Holly!!) that I decided to make it into a large print as well.

This is a beautiful and refreshing picture. I am so looking forward to spring here in Washington. It is cold and wet and it's hard to keep warm.
