Anthropologie *a few of my favorite things* 4

A little snow village display behind the registers at my favorite Anthro store

And I know I’m not alone in this one. Anthropologie, you gotta love that store!
I finally made it back to The Grove (yesterday) here in LA and took some pictures of the Anthropologie store decorations that I was raving about earlier. It’s awesome! This store in particular is decorated down to every last detail. Wouldn’t it be fun to have that job of decorating Anthropologie stores? I wonder?! Or is it only glamourous from the outside, as many jobs are. But you know it’s got to be fun to make those paper mache animals.

It’s all about the animaaaaals! (This I know.)

Can you see the llama among all those paper snowflakes? This is one of the window diplays.

Oh this is wonderful. We should start a trend and have everyone with a blog shoot photos of the displays in their local Anthropologie - I love seeing seasonal displays like this - SWOON!

And thanks for your call today and the chat while I was selecting salmon. :)

Have a wonderful vacation - you have a lot to be thankful for and to celebrate. ;)

i totally agree with you, i would -love- to work for Anthro. Anytime i am in a town that has one, i have to go in and check out their amazing displays. SO creative and inspiring. and each store is a little different. has your store used white plastic straws? i saw 2 different stores, one with straws hanging like rain, and another where the straws had been made into this amazing chandelier "nest".

Great idea, Holly. Maybe we need a flickr site dedicated to Anthro displays.

Happy holidays!

Anthropologie has such great decoration ideas, that can be copied by use of just paper! I particiluarly loved the time when Anthropologie (this one was at Easton Town Square) made giant curling waves made of old tattered books. Keep up the pics!
Thats a great idea! I have been trying to copy Anthropologie for creative decor for my room, and cheap plastic straws are perfect! the Anthro in my town hasnt used this idea, so thanks for the inspiration!
I love that you posted anthro's installation! I love that store too!
