Let the moving begin


Sean, me and the Looooo in the new house (It has become our new tradition to visit the new house, have a glass of wine, and take a self portrait photo before the moving begins)

We picked up the keys to our new place yesterday. It’s official, and now...the FUN part...MOVING!! I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed already. I know when I just start somewhere I’ll feel better. So, that’s the plan for tomorrow. If I’m missing for a few days, you know where I’ll be...packing :) In one week, it’ll be done and we’ll be in the new housey. Yup, one week from today. Ok, deep breath now, I’m optimistic for a smooth move. We can do it!!

Congrats on your new home! You should take a look at - its a website that can help you move home. It gives you discounts on removals, pre made change of address letters etc, Really useful!

marisa! congratulations! what an exciting venture. your new home looks adorable. there are soooo many cute houses here in la, though many of them ridiculously priced - congrats to you and your man (and pooch) for finding the space you're destined for!

It's pretty cool for you to have a certain tradition whenever you're moving from a house to another. But just like you two, it has been a thing for us to celebrate a move with bottles of beer and barbecue, like when I moved to a new place in Indianapolis, where all my buddies and family helped me move everything and picked the right furniture for my tastes, then after all that, we celebrated the move with an outdoor party.
