happy thanksgiving

Thought I’d share my favorite bag these days. I get compliments on it all the time. People always asking "where did you get it?"
Well it’s one of those special, handmade items that you can’t just get but you can make it!
Lynn offered to sew this bag for me to share at quilt market earlier this year and since then I haven’t been able to put it down. It goes with me everywhere, from the grocery store, to dance class to the airplane {it happens to be the perfect size to hold my 15" laptop for travel} and I love the long strap so it doesn’t constantly slide off my shoulder even in winter wear. You can even cross it over your body. This version features the prosperity hens and red stripe from my 'Locally Grown' collection that was out in the spring. I know she titled it Sandy’s Beach Bag, which it’s of course, perfect for; I will also be calling it Sandy’s Everywhere Bag.

And the pockets...lots of choices for your Iphone and keys, including a beautiful deep pocket on the inside.
Maybe you want to make one for you? or a Christmas gift?
thank you again Lynn

30 boxes to pop & fold {color} collect or give!

I spent this past Saturday at a huge Girl Scouts event, Girltopia, here in L.A.. Believe me when I say, I spent hours putting together these boxes with girls of all ages and I can personally attest to the fun that will be had! Seriously these would be the best party favors?! stocking stuffers, holiday gifties, everyday gifties and as always if you’re like me, you want it just because; it makes you happy.

Available on Amazon, in stores and boutiques soon and I also have a limited edition over at my shop starting today.
Announcement: If you are needing holiday orders to arrive in time, please order this week especially for those of you ordering internationally. The studio is working on a special project November 18 - December 4. Orders will start shipping again after December 6 - 16 and then we’ll be on our holiday break. There will be! an annual holiday shop update, as I have some new treats in store for you, so stay tuned here at the blog.

even sweet, tiny babies want to make pop up boxes :-)

The first memory game? Since it sold out I wanted to create a new one, but decided to use a completely different selection of images. This way if you have the first one, you can combine both to create a much larger game. Or if you missed it? here you go!

I created a new little gocco design for the package too :-)

Still one of my favorite sentiments {and designs} now a new embroidery kit in the shop.
